WHAT TO SEE AND VISIT

NOT TOO FAR FROM COACHELLA

Joshua Tree National Park

The park owes its name to the absolutely fantastic Joshua trees native to the Mojave Desert. It’s a must if it’s your first time in the area.

PLAN B: if you plan to do several national parks, take the annual passport at $80 otherwise it’s $30 per car and per park.

Desert X

DesertX is an exhibition visible from March 4 to May 7 in the Coachella Valley: gigantic installations not to be missed.

12 artists have created works for this ephemeral exhibition.

The hub with all the infos about the exhibition is at the Ace Hotel .

Pioneertown

This Cowboy Village is located in the San Bernardino County. It is a city created in 1946 where many westerns have been filmed. You are transported to another planet…to the Wild West. We loved it !

The Red Dog Saloon and Pappy + Harriet’s are the two institutions in the village.

PLAN B: Perfect for a road trip to Los Angeles or to Palm Springs with a little detour (… which will make you avoid traffic jams.)
